Events in Bangkok and Pattaya, explained before you go
AMA Events is a guide to the kinds of events people in Bangkok and Pattaya go to most: school open days, study-abroad fairs, game nights, golf and boat days, business meetups and wellness workshops. We write about how each type works, what to bring and what to ask. We do not run a ticketing calendar.

Badges show the usual timing for each type of event, not fixed dates. Check the organiser for this year's dates.
How to judge a networking event
Two good conversations are worth more than twenty business cards.
- Who does it draw? Chamber evenings lean toward senior managers at larger firms. Industry meetups draw practitioners.
- What does it cost? Members pay less at chamber events. Free meetups usually expect you to buy a drink.
- Can you follow up? Have a LINE QR code ready and send a short message within two days.
Why guides and not listings
Event calendars in Bangkok go stale quickly. Dates move, venues change and small organisers cancel at short notice. So instead of a calendar, each page here explains one type of event: when it tends to happen, how to book, what it costs and what people wish they had known. For dates, we point you to the organiser.
If you run a recurring event and would like it mentioned, use the submission page.
